What is CPSC eFiling?
CPSC eFiling is the electronic submission of certificate data for regulated products entering the United States. Instead of relying only on paper certificates, the required certificate information is submitted electronically and referenced during entry.
What do you need from me?
Start with what you already have: your COCs/GCCs, applicable test reports, product details, and importer information. Don't worry about formatting. Comply45 extracts what it can and tells you if anything is missing.
Does Comply45 certify without my approval?
No. Comply45 prepares the filing and presents it to you for review. You confirm the information and click Approve & Certify before the filing is submitted.
How fast is a filing?
Once Comply45 has complete and valid information for the product, we prepare the filing for your certification within 60 seconds — or the filing is free. The guarantee applies to Comply45 processing time and excludes time waiting on CPSC, third-party systems, your customs broker, or customer action.
What do I get when the filing is complete?
You receive the completed filing record and resulting CPSC identifiers, and Comply45 can send the information your customs broker needs directly to them. We also store your certificates, supporting reports, filing records, and submission information in your Comply45 account so you can retrieve them whenever you need them. Comply45 began as an internal system built by a high-volume U.S. fireworks importer to handle CPSC eFiling at scale. We needed a better way to review test reports, prepare certificates, submit filings, preserve the resulting CPSC records, and get everything our customs broker needed without turning eFiling into another full-time job.
